Turbans4Australia is one of Australia’s leading charitable organisations. Through our assistance programs which have included providing groceries to farmers experiencing drought in the Dubbo region, truck convoys of hay to farmers in Coonamble and renovations to community facilities in Mount Druitt, Turbans4Australia has assisted over 10,000 Australian’s.
We offer a range of supports, however most recently the impact of COVID-19 on our community has led to us in forming the COVID-19 Food Relief drive. Most of our help is requested and received by the elderly, people living with a disability, and those experience homelessness. Often, we extend help to those who are facing financially precarious situations due to unemployment. Recipients of help also include people with chronic health conditions who are self-isolating to protect themselves from infection and young international students, who are vulnerable as they cannot return home to their families.
