The service provides a comprehensive crisis support suite of programs that include: No Interest Loans, Food packs, Food vouchers, electricity, water and gas assistance, phone counselling, prescription vouchers, free fresh food and bread 4 days a week, Work Development Orders, Community Cupboard (food subsidised program), wood vouchers, water cartage, Food delivery (there are some restrictions-concentrating on the nutrition of aged/frail) and support to help with finances with our budgeting consultant. 

We take Return and Earn as we earn .3cents on each bottle and can, I have opened an Op shop in the Winmalee Shopping Village and this money goes straight to our emergency relief, as well as offering the following:

  • Gold coin lunch /financially disadvantaged/socially isolated- every week

  • Good Start breakfast Club-free breakfast provided at Winmalee Public School 2 days per week, we usually feed 80 plus children per week
  • Subsidised food (Winmalee Community Food Cupboard)-This was the first subsidised food program in the Blue Mountains.
