Current Support Level
Dementia Support Australia continues to provide its services across Australia during the current pandemic.
We understand that care homes and family carers might be more concerned about the level of access our services are able to provide.
All services delivered by Dementia Support Australia have been defined by the Department of Health as 'professional services' and able to continue to provide much needed support on the ground in care homes and do not impact on family visits.
Our teams are accessible, 24/7 365 days
Should you require a tele-health consultation we can facilitate this via our video conference platform.
If you have any questions during this period, please speak with a consultant on 1800 699 799 or email us at dsa@dementia.com.au
Dementia Support Australia (DSA) is a free nationwide service for people living with dementia and their carers.
Accredited consultants provide advice and recommendations to people who care for someone with dementia where
behaviours are a risk to themselves or others. DSA offers free support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year throughout Australia.
DSA delivers the Dementia Behaviour Management Advisory Service (DBMAS) and Severe Behaviour Response Teams (SBRT). We also provide the Needs Based Assessment Service which assess eligibility for entry into the Specialist Dementia Care Program. Our program is funded by the Australia Government.
