Lisa is a Death Doula. A Death Doula provides support for persons, and the loved ones of someone with a life limiting condition.
After landing in various Doula roles without knowing actually knowing what a Doula was, she learned of this term in 2017 and felt such elation to know there was something to what she had been questioning and speaking about for years!!!
Lisa believes that we need to talk about death more openly and hosts death cafés in the Hawkesbury.
