Thirrili is a national Aboriginal and Torres Islander Community Controlled Organisation providing postvention support and assistance to communities in the aftermath of suicide or unexpected fatal incidents. Support is available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 24-hours a day, 7-days a week on 1800 805 801. Service providers can also call 1800 805 801 to facilitate referrals. Thirrili can link individuals, families, and communities to a diverse array of services and support, encompassing but not limited to: supporting grief, loss and sorry time, case coordination, planning for funerals, understanding the coronial process, support service referrals, and cultural connection.

The phone is answered by one of our Aboriginal Support Advocates. If for some reason the call is diverted to message bank, we ask callers to leave their best contact number, and the Support Advocate will call them back as soon as possible.
