Better Access Initiative- GP Mental Health Care Plan

The Better Access Initative gives Medicare rebates to help people with a medicare card access mental health professionals and care, regardless of where they live. Eligible people can receive up to 10 individual and up to 10 group allied mental health services each year. People experiencing severe or enduring mental health impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic can access an extra 10 sessions.
