The Homelessness Mental Health Team offers a multidisciplinary approach to the bio psychosocial assessment and treatment of people who are homeless and experiencing mental ill health in a supportive and recovery oriented framework.
Clinicians are collocated within the Penrith sites of ‘Link Wentworth’ and ‘Platform Youth Services’ organisations. The team are primarily outreach-based, providing services throughout Nepean Blue Mountains region. Outreach visits occur as a partnership between Homelessness Mental Health Team clinicians and staff from Link Wentworth, Platform Youth Services and/or DCJ Housing.
