Assistance with Care and Housing (ACH) provides advocacy on behalf of older people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless; some of the most vulnerable, isolated and at-risk members of our community. Our services cover Nepean, Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury. The target group for the ACH Sub-Program is: • Frail older people 65 years and over (or 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people), who are on a low income and who are homeless or at risk of homelessness as a result of experiencing housing stress or not having secure accommodation; low income and prematurely aged people who are 50 years and over (or 45 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people), who are on a low income and who are homeless or at risk of homelessness as a result of experiencing housing stress or not having secure accommodation.
