The initiative has a dual purpose: For Seniors: "Youngsters" provide patient, jargon-free assistance with essential digital tasks. This includes navigating government and health platforms—such as Medicare or myID—as well as mastering video calls, social media, and online safety. For "Youngsters": It creates paid work opportunities for young people aged 18 and over. Participants earn "above award" wages and develop vital life skills, with many gaining Google Professional Certificates to enhance their future careers. If a senior qualifies, a Youngster can be booked to provide digital assistance as part of a Support at Home package.
